Founder-at-heart with operating & investing experience in US & India, I live in sunny San Francisco. Just like SF, I bring data, humor, and a passion for the future to everything I do.

I care about building a wider table and a kinder world. My core values are resilience, integrity, truth and service.

Professionally, I’m a technical 0→1 AI leader: data scientist turned product and General Manager with a Kellogg MBA. I bring depth across the AI/ML stack (applied AI, foundation models, post-training & AI infra) with breadth across roles (data science, product, General Manager, VC, Chief of Staff) and scale (startups, bigtech).

I turn frontier AI into products and revenue. My edge lies in the unique blend of operating range: technical fluency, product, GTM, R&D, board reporting, building high-performing teams amidst ambiguity. I move fluidly between model and market. My work in AI featured in media here.

JOURNEY OVER THE YEARS

Innovator

Growing up in Calcutta, India, a city I call ‘frozen in time’, I noticed tech adoption change livelihoods and mindsets. I wanted to drive that change. An early example is from a Google[x] hackathon, where I built air filters for trees to reduce pollution. Since then, I've been obsessed with innovating.

Inspired by the work of 2 of my sisters - a data scientist and UX researcher, I learnt prediction modeling in R and design thinking. At the intersection of data and UX, I found my passion in product management in an undergrad internship. I unpack my story of self-learning in this Stanford d.school talk and blog on leveraging internships to identify what you really want to do.

Strategist

Have you tried booking an uber/lyft & seen pickup zones in commercial/high demand locations? That's the first product I built - a location intelligence platform at Ola and scaled it to 3M+ bookings.

As a Product Manager, I've been fortunate to launch 0to1 and 1ton products in AIML, B2C, and B2B data/AI SaaS across startups (Ola, Niantic Spatial) and bigtech (Apple, Amazon, Samsung Research US). Further, being a 'General Manager' at Turing, chief of staff and 1x founding experience honed my strategy and go-to-market muscle.

Investor & Community Builder

I invest in my pursuit of a wider table and I foster communities for a kinder world.

I built a view of the other side of the table as a VC at Stellaris Venture Partners. My early-stage operator experience enabled me to quickly add value to portfolios and scope the consumer & AI landscape. Now, I foster an angel investing syndicate for women in AI to drive more equity in cap-tables.
